Carra - We need new additions

Jamie Carragher believes Liverpool must strengthen in the summer if they want to bring UEFA Champions League football back to Anfield.
The Reds will miss out on dining at European football's top table again next season, with fifth place in the Premier League the highest they can finish.
Kenny Dalglish's side have recently enjoyed an impressive run of form to leave them undefeated in their last five games, four of which ended in wins.
But veteran defender Carragher believes the Merseysiders still need to make additions at the end of the season if they are going to challenge for the top trophies next term.

Improve

"First and foremost, we need to improve the team and the squad," Carragher told LFC Weekly.
"We're on a great run at the moment, but sometimes when that happens it makes you think that you don't need to change too much.
"You can't forget what has happened in the last 18 months because we're not yet where we want to be.
"But the manager has come in and we've been as good as anyone else in the league since then. Whether that changes minds about what we need to do over the summer remains to be seen.
"We need to get back in that Champions League - sometimes you look at it and think you're miles away.
"But you look at Schalke in the semi-final and Man United in the final - a team that we beat quite comfortably at home - and realise that with a few additions, we could be up there too."
The defender believes one player who can help Liverpool kick on next season is Luis Suarez, who arrived at Anfield from Ajax in January and has made an instant impact for the Reds.
Impressed
Carragher has been impressed by how well the Uruguay ace has adapted to life on Merseyside, adding: "I know people say it takes foreigners longer to settle but I think that's a myth.
"Every foreign player that's been a success at Liverpool has done it straight away.
"Suarez would be on that list too. Generally, if you don't settle quickly, you don't settle at all."
